Atlantic States Incident Release

Phillipsburg, New Jersey, March 26, 2010 — At approximately 10:30 a.m., a worker fell in to a hot water pit while a metal plate covering the trench was being repaired. The worker suffered burns on both legs below his knees. He is now undergoing treatment at the burn center at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Atlantic States is currently reviewing the circumstances surrounding the accident. We are also monitoring the condition of the employee who is expected to make a full recovery and return to work.
