M&H Valve signs two new students for Maintenance Apprenticeship Program
M&H Valve was pleased to participate in the East Alabama FAME signing ceremony for the third year in a row to sign up two new students for their maintenance apprenticeship program. The FAME (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education) Program at Gadsden State Community College includes a two-year technical Associate degree and provides students with valuable on-the-job training. FAME students attend classes at a local community college two days a week (8 hours or more each day) and work at least 24 hours a week (8 hours or more each day for three days) for a local sponsoring employer, being paid a competitive wage.
M&H is pleased to have the opportunity to partner with the FAME program at Gadsden State Community College to recruit talented individuals pursuing a career in manufacturing.
