Tyler Union enhances workplace safety with NFPA 70E training
ASA Safety, in collaboration with C&R Compliance, recently conducted an 8-hour OSHA-required NFPA 70E training at Tyler Union, tailored specifically to the company's needs. The training, led by Scott Silvey from C&R Compliance, focused on electrical safety and the potential risks and hazards associated with arc flash events.
Arc flash incidents can be life-altering, but the risks can be minimized, and often completely avoided, by following safety protocols and applying the lessons learned during the training. A key takeaway emphasized throughout the session was the importance of slowing down to ensure safety during electrical tasks.
Special thank you to ASA Sales Representative Tom Kubista for his efforts in coordinating the training and helping Tyler Union reach the next level of excellence in workplace safety!
