Long-Span Pipe

Long-span pipe is designed to cover longer distances with fewer supports compared to traditional Ductile iron pipe. It can span distances of 27 feet up to 45 feet or even longer with support only at the bell ends. This pipe comes in various lengths and uses a unique McWane Ductile-designed o-ring rubber gasket joint to reduce the number of piers needed in elevated lines. During installation, support is required under each bell, with consideration for expansion and contraction.
