The accountant role at McWane involves welcoming and assisting visitors, clients, staff, and applicants who either call the company or visit the main office. You will also be responsible for reviewing daily AR billing, check runs, and electronic payments, also you will do monthly pipe inventory checks along with lots of other financial tasks. In this position, you will be reviewing billing and payment runs, sorting mail, and electronically depositing checks. The role also involves performing data entry and general clerical support tasks for the department.

At a Ductile iron pipe manufacturing campus, IT personnel and software developers collaborate to ensure seamless operations. The IT staff diligently maintains critical production infrastructure, overseeing servers, networks, and databases. Simultaneously, software developers engage in designing, coding, and testing applications to optimize manufacturing processes. Security and compliance remain paramount, with the IT department responsible for implementing best practices both on and off campus. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, providing end-point support, and provisioning necessary hardware and software for over 200 users. Furthermore, system and application integration efforts and improvement initiatives contribute to efficiency and innovation within this specialized manufacturing environment.
